EMI shielding adapters address mechanical design requirements limiting EMI and radio frequency interference (RFI) emissions from front panels or enclosures. High-Density Multiport Optical EMI Shielding Adapters (up to 15 ports) from Molex are constructed of either all die-cast housings or as a half die-cast, half polymer housing. Housings have an EMI gasket that seals the adapters to the panel. The adapters increase shielding effectiveness while enhancing front panel aesthetics compared to traditional plastic adapters.

A fan-in/fan-out device is one of the key components of multi-core fiber transmission systems. The developed device addresses individual cores of a multicore fiber and ensures low loss, reliable and robust connection. Fan-in/fan-out devices are tailored to the requirements of a multicore structure. Whilst standard single mode fibers compatible with G.652 are used in our device, other fibre types may be available. Our device enables the exploitation of multicore fibres within an existing optoelectronic infrastructure.

EGIDE introduces a new series of packages dedicated to 100Gb/s and 400Gb/s applications. The family of TOSA, ROSA and (µ)ICR packages is compliant with the OIF and CFP standards. RF performance of the ceramic transitions is above 40 GHz and ideal for current 100G use and opens the road towards the next 200G and 400G transceivers. EGIDE also proposes a complete portfolio of modulator, laser, pump and WSS packages for AON. Specific SMD driver packages for 4xQAM 400Gb/s will be displayed.
