SMART Photonics an Independent InP Foundry

On September 24th, SMART Photonics will open a new cleanroom for production of InP based discrete- as well as integrated- photonic components.
SMART Photonics, located in Eindhoven, The Netherlands, is a Pure Play Foundry offering production services on 2” and 3” InP wafers. The services vary from growing Epitaxial layers, re-growth, processing, polishing and metallization of the wafers up to coating of the bars. Key assets are the Multi wafer MOVPE reactor and the sub 100nm DUV lithography scanner for critical structures and gratings.
They use their knowledge, experience and dedicated equipment to produce the photonic designs of their customers.
