AND Solution will be presenting the latest version (4.10) of its software solution for the design, documentation and operations support of access networks.

With an ever-growing emphasis on interactive mobile applications for field staff, the AND team will provide ‘on-stand’ demonstrations as to how these contribute to the efficiency of day-to-day operations as well as helping to ensure documentation quality.
Armed with Android tablets, iPads, Windows notebooks, etc. field technicians can immediately access the latest network data such as splice plans, in-building documentation, etc. It’s just a case of pressing the GPS button or entering a street address and, since no AND data is stored locally, there are no data security issues.
In addition, users can also readily access documents such as permits, relevant instructions and photos, view real-time states of network components, locate fibre breakages, jump to other network sections and much more.
Redlining functions help keep network documentation up-to-date and allow technicians to promptly forward vital audits and corrections to their office colleagues for post-processing. Updates can normally be returned within minutes.
So, no more costly A0 coffee-stained printouts with often illegible scribbled corrections and comments; no more waiting for weeks or even months for redlinings (with some by then obsolete or redundant) to make their way back to the planners and documenters; no more documents lost or damaged.
